Do you have a headache? Rub, pinch gently, "worry" your big toe and/or your thumb. Work on the entire thumb or big toe, paying special attention to the "stem" of each. (If the big toe was a mushroom, the joint with the nail would be the cap, and the lower portion would be the stem) This will help a headache caused by neck tension.
Is the headache caused by sinus problems? Rub the top joint of each finger to clear them.
Place your hands along your sides as you stand. Where your middle finger
reaches, dig in. Where your middle finger falls, along the side of your thigh
is a spot that when you dig in and rub, you can feel to be quite sensitive.
Hold it for a count of 7, release for a count of 7. Keep repeating until
the point no longer hurts or until pressing it relieves yout headache. This
is the kind of headache
caused by too much fat in your diet or too much sugar.
Now find a point along the inside of the thumb bone that is in the webbing
- the inside of the lowest bone of the thumb. In the narrowest portion of
the thumb, in the webbing, but pressing INTO THE
BONE, is a superiore headache removing spot. Hold this spot as you breathe
evenly and deeply. Your headache will be gone sooner than if you took Tylernol!
Also, rub the spots at the back of your neck, on both sides of the spine,m especially at the base of the skull on those hard tight muscles.
Place one hand across your forehead as you place the other hand on the sore headachy area. Hold it there and youi will soon find the headache gone. (This is a good remedy for any pain - one hand on the forehead, the other on the pain).
And best and most important, drink a glass of water at the first signs of a headache. Dehydration causes a multitudre of problems including headaches, vagueness, brain "fag", inability to concentrate, tired or burning eyes and much more. A good test for dehydration - gently pinch your nose. If it is "tacky" or "sticky" you are in need of H2O
Next month we will give you tips for eye problems. And hopefully next month will see a new web site with chat room and an archive for past "fix-its". Have a superior June!
