PR 101 (Entry Class for Beginner’s)

This class is 85% hand- on. It will teach you all the techniques you need to improve circulation, assimilation, relaxation, elimination, returning a person to their healthy, normal state. The class is 93 hours of both in class (33 hours)and practicum time (60 hrs).
For your practicum, you will work on 60 pairs of feet, on your own paying clients, marking observations and visual cues. Upon finishing your practicum and having it marked and returned, you will receive a second certificate. There is no extra cost for the practicum – its intention is to teach, not test. We recommend 25 hours of “shadowing” & receiving 2 sessions with a professional reflexologist. Class hours total 122 hours.

TOUCHPOINT REFLEXOLOGY CERTIFICATE HOMESTUDY (EQUIVALENT TO PR 101)
Learn at home, at your own pace, while receiving the best possible instruction and a “hotline” to Yvette Eastman. You receive a binder with 16 lessons, along with 16 quizzes to challenge you. E-mail them to Touchpoint. Yvette reads and comments on them, then returned to you. Yvette is at your side every step of the way, assisting you and making sure that you are comfortable with the information. Topics range from ‘Buying the best shoes’ to ‘Visual cues’ to reflexes for specific ailments. Anatomy and Physiology are both taught - simply, yet completely, with consideration to whole body interaction. Along with the lessons, you receive DVD & CD’s, small and large wall charts, dial a reflex for hand & foot, wallet cards and the famous manual, “The First Steps”. Our Homestudy programs have reached Saudi Arabia, China, South Africa Australia, all of Canada and the US. Your first practical exam can be videotaped; or you can choose to work on a Registered Reflexologist, or attend a seminar, at no extra cost.

There is a 2nd practicum performed on clients, where you will record your findings on 60 pair of feet. This will award you a second certificate. This is identical to the practicum used with the Practitioner 101 students. The results of this course have been amazing- people are learning as if Yvette were in their home as private tutor! Learn fast or slowly, it’s up to you.

Tuition: $995 + HST includes 17 lessons in Reflexology, the 16 quizzes, a final exam and individualized correction by Yvette throughout the program. An additional fee of $700 +HST covers manuals, DVD, CD’s, dial-a-reflex wheels, all charts, (wallet size, 11x17 and 24”x36”)the quizzes and exams and their correction and the one-on-one phone assistance. The TOTAL TUITION and material cost can be 1 installment of $1695 +HST - or 8 installments of $235 +HST. (Please send 1 present-dated and 7 post-dated cheques (1 or more per month). The entire program will be mailed to you at once. Paying over a period of time facilitates you financially but it is more expensive, though less expensive than the PR 101, since you need not travel or stay in a hotel and it includes all the learning aids. You may attend a hands-on PR 101 at any time, at no cost, within 5 years of your Homestudy certification to update yourself. Attend the hands-on seminar. Start & end at any time.

HAND REFLEXOLOGY - HR 102
Some prefer to have Hand Reflexology. Some practitioners give their clients “homeplay” reflexes on their hands so they can help themselves. I work the hands as well as the feet in every session – to tell the body that I mean business! Learn 2 methods of hand reflexology, both easy to learn and remember. Learn some fine relaxation techniques for hard-working hands and carpal tunnel corrections. BODY REFLEXOLOGY –BR 103

EAR REFLEXOLOGY ER 104
This class is not acupressure of the ear. It looks instead at energy centres of the ear and balances chakras, sounds, colours, muscles, behaviours, organs and as they relate to each individual. Knowledge of muscle checking is useful. Learn several methods of clearing the ears and aiding in deafness and tinnitus. Manual included in tuition. with Y. Eastman

SHOULDER WORK SRP 108
Even a 15 minute session of Shoulder release points will cause a dramatic change. Locate and correct muscles to relieve pain, and stiffness. Use it for people and animals. Chair massage – great for ending a session or for work in hospitals, fairs, corporate work.

CHAKRAS ON THE FEET CF 106
Chakras are the interface between the physical and non-physical elements of your system. A lump in your throat may have to do with fear, or something you can’t speak of or a spasm of the muscles, or a thyroid condition. A “gut feeling” is another example that we experience. Perhaps you know about chakras and how to balance them on the body. Here is a unique system of Chakra balancing within the a Reflexology session. Two different systems will be presented. You will learn the use, the positioning, and the handling of hot stones on the entire body and the method will use Reflexology. THE TEACHERS PROGRAM -

REFLEXOLOGY: THE TEACHERS PROGRAM
Open to the Graduate of all three Reflexology Levels intending to teach> Touchpoint Certificate Practitioners Complete Reflexology classes of their own. We will consider students of other schools that have attained our standards. Contact Touchpoint to find out if your school's certification is eligible for advanced studies. If not, you may be required to attend the Practitioners Complete Reflexology seminar, and you will require an interview with Yvette (Can be a phone interview).

You must take Touchpoint's advanced programs, Advanced Reflexology, #1 & # 2, and have up to date information from the Practitioners program. You must also be certified in Meridians on the Feet Reflexology before continuing on to the Teacher's Program. The purpose is to learn about meridian channels, their power and corrections, but also, because Meridians will take you on your own emotional self-discovery. You cannot adequately work with others if you have not searched your behaviours, emotions, and issues. Our method of teaching personal journey work, as well as the curriculum, is what makes Touchpoint Institute special and different from other schools.

Your objective is to be able to present a Touchpoint Certificate Practitioners' Complete Reflexology seminar. In the 1st and 2nd Aspect, you will be: Reviewing and learning all of the theory, practical aspects of Reflexology. During the 3rd Aspect the new Teacher will present a portion of the class of the Practitioner program to colleagues. The 4th Aspect will be updating information – new ideas, new information from across the world.
